A WINNING EQUATION FOR A MAGICAL DAY

CITY + SURF = THE BEST OF SYDNEY

The Best of Sydney by Road “City to Surf”

What We Do

An iconic Sydney day … from the Opera House to Bondi Beach

This is a terrific chance to gain an insight into the ‘real’ Sydney as we visit the favourite haunts of Sydney locals – some are off the beaten tourist track and others are iconic. Sydney’s famous sights are an integral part of our lifestyle and we love showing you all the many facets of our gorgeous city harbour through our local eyes.

Your snapshot of a day in the life of a Sydneysider can be a full day experience or you can choose to spend half a day with us.   Either way you’ll live our culture, explore our history, experience our world-famous icons and discover Sydney’s secrets.

Your experience starts where Sydney began – in the city’s historic Rocks precinct. Here we’ll take you on a journey to Sydney’s colonial past, gain an insight into her ancient Indigenous culture and take a glimpse into her future with her newest state-of-the art developments.

Our gorgeous harbour city is flanked by magnificent gardens and native bush, so our journey continues through the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden to one of Sydney’s most spectacular vantage points – Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. This garden paradise, in the heart of the city, is a favourite with Sydneysiders and tourists alike – it’s also the perfect place to take photos of our famous icons, the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

And that’s just the start of your amazing Sydney safari  …

The Highlights

Sights and secrets … spend a day living the Sydney way

After exploring the wonders of Sydney's city, we’ll head east via Woolloomooloo, an eclectic precinct that is home to celebrities, a naval base and the famous Harry’s Cafe de Wheels pie cart.

Our ‘road cruise’ in our luxury Mercedes Viano continues on to the sights and colour of Sydney’s red-light district of Kings Cross. In contrast are the terraced and trendy streets of Paddington, famous for its boutique shopping, coffee culture, art galleries and laneways full of surprises – we’ll stop here to enjoy morning tea before our journey continues through the affluent waterfront villages of Double Bay and Rose Bay.

Our next stops are the harbourside playground of Nielson Park, historic Vaucluse House, The Gap at Watson’s Bay with its magnificent coastal cliffs view and of course, Bondi Beach – we’ll share local insights into this world-famous surf beach so you can choose how you’d like to spend your time here.

If you’re spending a full day with us, we’ll also enjoy lunch by the harbour at Watson’s Bay, take a walk around spectacular South Head and visit Centennial Park, another popular Sydneysiders’ playground. Again, this beautiful park is a stone’s throw from the city, but a true escape with its walking, jogging, cycling and horse riding paths as well as its picturesque picnic grounds and beautiful ponds with their ducks and swans. We’ll drive back to the city through the leafy suburb of Woollahra and trendy Darlinghurst with its stylish bars and eateries.
